Modern Two Story Houses – Fine Architecture And Generous Spaces
We have lately insisted on both single floor and, respectively, attic houses taking advantage of the growing appetite for homes with small living areas. This time we’ll take a look at a few modern two story houses which are also an option for those who like contemporary architecture, with strong edges and a bold play of volumes. Here are three accessible plans in the article below.
The first project is a house with a total living area of 140 square meters. It is a house with a simple, compact design, integrating a garage on the ground floor, featuring facades with brick and large glass surfaces. The ground floor comes as a single open space that includes the three classic rooms, living, dining and kitchen, opening on a back patio. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, enough to meet the needs of a classic family with two children. The price of this house is almost 60,000 euros.
The second plan is a steel frame house, with a smaller living area, of only 115 square meters. The house is distinguished by an architecture that combines different volumes and facades planes so as to display a dynamic geometric play. The ground floor includes the living and dining in one large room, connected to an outdoor terrace, while the kitchen is located separately. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the master bedroom with its own bathroom and dressing room. The turnkey price is between 55,000 and 63,000 euros, depending on the finishes.
Finally, the third example brings us to a house with Mediterranean flair, with the same facades wrapped in decorative brick and glass surfaces in different geometric shapes, arranged horizontally or vertically. Only the built area, 120 square meters, is specified in the builder’s presentation, without any indication of the final price of this house which has an integrated garage. On the ground floor, the space is divided into several rooms, kitchen and dining coming separately from the living room. A study was also located in the corner. Three bedrooms rest upstairs, the master bedroom again having the privilege of its own bathroom and dressing.
