House Plans With Gable Roof. Modern, Smart Homes on One or Two Levels
Gable roof is still the most frequent, even in modern houses. We’ve selected three house plans with gable roof, with a modern design, a smart look, nice spaces for spending time outside and a practical partition of the interior space.
The first one is of a single-story house, with a total area of 1,400 square feet, of which the living area is 1,119 sq. ft., and 3 bedrooms. It has a nice exterior design that combines surfaces covered in plaster with those covered in wood.
There is a small partially covered rear porch and the car also has a garage.
There’s a small lobby when you enter, then you can access the living room, connected to the kitchen in the front, or a hallway leading to the bedrooms, after passing the bathroom and a toilet. There’s an exit to the rear porch from the living room. The garage is next to the bedrooms and has access to the house through the utility room.
House plans with gable roof. Home with a loft
This is an economic model, with a minimalistic exterior design, on a living are of 1,474 sq. ft. and total area of 1,840 sq. ft. The loft is covered in plenty of skylights which is very promising.
A lot of light also gets in through the patio doors opening from the kitchen and the living room.
As it can be seen in the plan for the first floor, this house has no less than five entrances and exists: the main one, the two on different sides of the living room, one for the utility room, from where there’s access to the kitchen, and another facing the dining place.
Passing through the lobby, the plan is perfectly divided between the living room on the right and the toilet, kitchen, dining and the utility room, all grouped on the left.
The loft consists of three bedrooms, the master having a large closed attached, and a bathroom, set around a central hall.
House plans with gable roof. Home with two stories
We’ve also chosen a regular two-story house, with a modern design, large windows and a long balcony all along three sides of it. The living area of this house is 1,711 sq. ft. and the total one, including the garage, is 2,303 sq. ft.
On the first floor we have a spacious living and dining room, with an all-glass wall in the back. The front part is occupied by the kitchen and pantry, which are almost equal in size. There is also a bathroom that can be easily accessed from the garage.
There are three bedrooms, among which a master bedroom with dressing, and a bathroom on the second floor.
