Those who don’t want the complications of having two stories, have plenty of one-story house plans available with all the rooms they need. Four rooms are more than enough for a typical family. We’ve selected three one-story houses with 4 rooms, that were were just beautifully designed and have the adequate interior division on a small or medium-size living area.
This first model is very modern, with large windows and a screened out of line wall and a nice rear porch covered in wood.
Its living area is 925 square feet. From the lobby, one can access the utility room or go straight ahead on a hallway where there are the two bathrooms, and then the three bedrooms. The other half of the house is occupied by the living room, with exit to the rear porch, dining place next to the screened wall and open kitchen in front.

This model integrated some traditional decorative elements, like the wood shutters at the windows in front, into the modern design. The facade si also decorated with brick around the entrance and the small round window by its side, There’s a partially covered rear porch, supported by a thick wooden pillar, with the back wall dressed in brick and some large planters by its side.
Living area is 904 sq. ft. The bathroom and bedrooms are again all together, but this time the master bedroom has some more privacy, being separated by the utility room from the other two. The rest of this house plan consists of the living room, with exit to the rear porch, and the open kitchen with pantry.

The third model has a really nice design of the facade, decorated with stone around the entrance and wood work above. There’s an uncovered porch all along the back wall and on the side of the house.
The living area is 1,323 sq. ft. and there’s also a garage. there are the three bedrooms and two bathrooms, in one half, and the kitchen, utility room and living room, in the other. The rear and side porch is accessible from the dining room, living room and two of the bedrooms.
