Well Lit Small Houses. Practical and Elegant Homes
It’s most often for economical reasons that we prefer to build small. But with a proper division and good lighting, the smallest surface can be turned into the most comfortable and elegant rooms. Here are three plans for well lit small houses that prove you can be practical and live in style.
The first house looks very minimalist and modern. It stands out due to its multiple wall-long windows, both on the facade and in the back. They light the living room as well as the bedrooms. The living area of this house is around 1,100 square feet and building it turnkey costs under 52.500 euros.
The plan includes a foyer, the utility room, the kitchen open towards the living and dining room with fireplace, two bedrooms with a bathroom in-between that enjoy a bit of privacy through a small hallway.
Well lit small houses. One-story house with 3 bedrooms
The second model also has wall-long windows, in the back and on one side, lighting the living and dining room room from two sides as well as two of the bedrooms. This house has 3 bedrooms, a living area of 1,150 and can be built turnkey for 55.000 euros.
The plan is divided approximately in half, between the utility room, the kitchen and the dining and living room, on one hand, and the three bedrooms, bathroom and half bathroom placed along a hallway, on the other hand.
Well lit small houses. House with attic
The house with attic model we’ve chosen has plenty of long, elegant windows on both stories, especially on the round wall with the dining table beautifully set behind. The attic has roof windows and screened doors to the balconies at both ends. The living area of this house is 1,120 sq. ft and the building price is 52.600 euros.
The first floor plan comprises a foyer, the utility room, the dining room with the open kitchen by its side and the living room in the back.
In the attic there are a master bedroom with dressing and its own balcony, two smaller bedrooms to the other side, sharing the other balcony, and a bathroom in-between.
