Four Small Apartments Under 30 Square Meters
Space is always a burden to those living in small apartments. No matter how hard you try to overcome this limit, you always hit the physical barriers. That does not mean that space cannot be ultimately tamed, subdued and controlled by giving it new proportions so that, visually, it makes the move beyond its original limits. To convince you, here are four small apartments under 30 square meters, via Home-designing.com, whose interior design comes precisely to break these limits that we mentioned above.
The first example is an apartment of exactly 30 square meters inhabited by a woman with an active lifestyle. Easy to deduce this, judging by the colorful and energetic interiors. The living room, which serves as the young woman’s bedroom was painted in light colors to create the illusion of space. Decorative items made of wood, placed on all sides of the room, including the ceiling, propagate a natural and friendly atmosphere. In one corner stands a discreet kitchen, behind which opens a colorful bathroom.
The second apartment belongs to a young couple and shows the same composition in terms of color. The main room is the living room, bedroom, gym and office at the same time. The bed can disappear from the landscape anytime by folding it into a wall niche which also features shelves, expanding the maximum space needed. On one side of the room a small workspace was arranged, right next to the generous window. Behind the smoky glass doors that open near the workspace hides a small kitchen, practical and roomy enough for the young couple.
The third example defies a space of just 17 square meters by help from a sofa that folds out into a bed, multi-functional furniture and built-in storage solutions, with stylish and vibrant decorations that give vitality to this fine tiny apartment. A stylish kitchen is part of this open space, with a dining table hidden in the cabinet folding down only when needed. Mirrors and glossy surfaces help propagate light and visually expand the space.
Finally, the last apartment spans about 29 square meters and meets the challenge of the same small space through an open chromatic arrangement, a key element in these space enlarging efforts. A kitchen located in a corner, easy to find thanks to the expressive pans hanging on a wall, continue with a small living space, flanked by a mini-bedroom – three spaces with different uses packed in a single one.
