DIY Projects Using Plastic Bottles

We recycle because we increasingly care about the environment. But we overlook a very important aspect: instead of throwing it away, even if in a selective manner, we can repurpose many of this waste. It only takes a little imagination and some inspiration. This is the very reason why we are showing you a series of DIY projects using plastic bottles, the waste we trip on everywhere we turn and which we incessantly produce, without considering the repurposing option. First of all, plastic bottles can get countless new applications thanks to the material they are made of: resilient, flexible, transparent and food safe. For this very reason, the very first project we are looking at is using these bottles for vertical gardens. Each of us crave for a green pocket, whether we live in a house or a flat. A chandelier – something you would have never thought of. It takes a bit of courage to hang something like that on the ceiling, but leaving prejudice aside, ingenuity sparks your friends’ envy so do not shrink from letting your ideas loose.

Returning to garden, other than improvised containers, plastic bottles can take on new practical functions, such as a sprinkler to use for watering vegetables, fruits and flowers.
