The tiny house on 24 square meters
It is probably hard for you to imagine living in such a tiny home. Of course, such a place is primarily destined for young couples and nothing more than that, ideally a young pair for whom the living space is a secondary issue of their dynamic life. The example below is the invention of an American company based in San Francisco, Avava Systems, and was ordered by an owner to be used as a modern guest house at the back of the garden. The tiny house spreads on just 24.5 square meters and displays a neat and eye-catching design. It has prefabricated components in its structure and putting them together on the building site took just 6 weeks. What came out can be easily seen in the images below. The interior is simply and practically divided: an open space which brings together a kitchen, a seating area and a bedroom. A bathroom completes this space. A work desk was placed in a corner in this small and simply decorated space. The bathroom might be equally small, but it has everything you need.
The company produces three different types of such tiny homes, each coming in a different size, the largest sitting on 44 square meters, and the smallest is the example we detail here. The intermediary option lies on an area of almost 33 square meters. Each of the tree plans come with an outdoor deck that expands the small space inside into the surrounding nature.
The house is fitted with solar panels and other energy generating systems, such as a heat pump and a rain water collection tank. The prices match the fine and bold architecture and the innovative technology used: the base costs range from about 86,000 to 116,000 USD for the three versions mentioned above. With upgrades and services the price tag goes from about 146,000 to 181,000 USD.
