One-Story Houses For Narrow Plots. Three Tasteful Models
Most people with a narrow or small plot choose a two-story house to have a smaller footprint. But certain people prefer one-story houses and just won’t have anything else. Here are three one-story houses for narrow plots with attractive designs in very different styles.
The first one has a brick foundation and wall at the entrance, matching the scarlet color of the roof, in contrast to the white walls. It has large windows and a rear porch with the same brick backsplash. Its living area is 1,377 square feet, and the price for the turnkey construction is 64,251 euros.
The garage is in front of the house bulk, reducing its width, and the utility room behind it, next to the lobby. From there one can access the small living room with open kitchen and dining room behind, where there’s an exit to the porch, or a hallway to the three bedrooms, bathroom and lavatory.
One-Story Houses For Narrow Plots. Model no. 2
The second house has a more modern design, clean and sophisticated at the same time, with largea ares decorated with dark wood and light colored brick and nice front and rear porches. It has a living area of 1,431 sq. ft. and the front measures around 40 feet. Building it turnkey costs 66,800 euros.
It has a large open kitchen with dining place and a very large living room with exit to the rear porch. By its side is a long hallway leading to the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The two bedrooms in the back also have access to the rear porch.
One-Story Houses For Narrow Plots. Model no. 3
The third model has a contemporary design that shows great openness to the outside with the beautiful pergola-covered porch in the back, where there are three screen doors. It’s width is only 30 feet, so it can be positioned accordingly on the plot, with the entrance and the porch on one side and the other. Living area is 1,194 sq. ft. and the construction price is 84,500 euros.
There are three bedrooms with a bathroom in-between, a lavatory near the entrance, the utility room, large open kitchen and a large great room with living and dining room. The porch can be accessed from the living room, between the dining room and the kitchen and from one of the bedrooms.
