House Plans with Porches. Get to Fully Enjoy Your Home With Garden

Moving from the city into a house opens great perpectives of frequent outdoor meals and barbecues and lazy weekend afternoons when you can fall asleep laying in the sun. For all these perks what you need in between your new house and the garden around it is a porch, set up practically, partially covered in order to have a shaded part and furnished for everything you like to do there: with table, chairs, bench, swing chair and folding bed. Here are three house plans with porches that will make you not be able to conceive your home otherwise.

The first model, with a very modern design, is a one-story home on a 1,334 square feet area, living area being 1,076 sq. ft. Covered porches in the corner lay on a 140 sq. ft. area.

The floor plan is divided between the night rooms – three bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet – and the day ones – the living and dining room, enclosed kitchen with access to the utility room. Day rooms are open to the outside – at the end of the living room and by the dining room there are exits to the porch on screen walls.

The second model is also a one-story home, but on a much larger area, of 2,454 sq. ft., living area being 1,959 sq. ft. This home features a large, rear, partially covered porch.

It has a two-car garage, 3 bedrooms, including a master bedroom with dressing and its own small side porch, and two bathrooms. The kitchen, with access to the utility room, is separated from the living and dining room. The living room is screened on the sides with exits to the porch.

Here is a beautiful ground floor and loft model, with wrap-around porch on three sides. The porch is partially covered with a pergola. It has a total area of 1,765 sq. ft. and a useful area of 1,420 sq. ft.

On the ground floor there are the utility room, a bathroom and a bonus room that can serve as an office or guest room, with exit to the porch, and, to the other side, the great room with living, dining room and kitchen. There are to exits to the porch from the living room.
