Home-Made Corn Puffs. A Taste From Childhood in Your Kitchen
The simple and salty corn puffs from our childhood are still as delightful as back then every time we open a pack and share it with those around us. Corn puffs are easy to make and you just need a few ingredients that are not pricey at all. So if you live abroad and they are nowhere to find in shops or you simply want a healthier snack, without additives, you can bake them inside your own kitchen. Here is how easily you can enjoy home-made corn puffs.
- 2 cups corn flour
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup club soda
- 2 spoons salt
Home-made corn puffs. Preparation:
Add the corn flour, oil, mineral water and the salt into a mixer, then mix well at medium then high speed until a yellowish puffy cream forms.
Then sprinkle flour into a baking tray and cast puffs or round-shape forms (as you prefer) from flour and the mixture.
Put to bake at low heat for 30 minutes.
