It’s that time of the year when our mind is set for the holiday season. After a lot of work and stress, it’s time to relax. For those well-off, here are some plans of two story holiday homes where to recharge the batteries for a new year ahead. These are typically small houses, with generous outdoor areas, answering the need for peacefulness and harmony with the surrounding nature.

The first example is a very beautiful and bright looking house, spreading on 92 square meters. Featuring a classic architecture, the house draws attention thanks to its facades where decorative brick areas bring extra aesthetic. On the ground floor, besides the living spaces opened to the outdoors by a small patio, there’s also a bedroom, with three other similar rooms lying upstairs. So four bedrooms in total, more than we could have expected from this small, yet chic house. It sells for about 45,500 Euros.

The second plan shows a modern house whose architecture features modern sharp lines blurred by generous glazings in a captivating dynamic play. With a similar living area, 100 square meters, the house catches the eye thanks to its bold design, in which the roof descends on one side close to the ground while still making way for a large glass section which opens the living beneath to the sky above. At the back, the dining has direct access to a spacious patio behind the house while a small door connects the living to a small garden on the side of the house. On the first floor, a first version of the plan features a single bedroom with the rest of the space opening to the living below while a second variant packs two bedrooms. The house sells for an estimated price of 44,000 Euros.

The third plan brings a house sitting on 128 square meters. It is a modern house with some traditional elements, such as the porch, gable roof and the attic, featuring generous outdoor spaces. The house can also work as a full-time living place, spacious enough to meet needs of a family of 4. On the ground floor, the living area spills outdoors into a patio covered by a pergola, while a study in a corner can be turned into a sleeping room. Upstairs rest three bedrooms and a bathroom. The turnkey price of this house ranges from about 57,000 to 81,000 Euros, depending on the finishes.
