Lemonade is a delicious, hydrating drink to have all summer long. The lemons-sugar-water basic recipe can be prepared in more than one way and you can add different fruits or spices to it. Here are 5 lemonade recipes, both some of the most popular ones, and some less known, you can try out this summer.

Mint Lemonade  – Arab Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large lemons
  • 1 pint water
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 5 tablespoons sugar (or as much as you like)

Method:

Squeeze the lemons and put the juice, water, sugar and mint leaves in a blender. Blend until the mint leaves are well minced. Pour it in glasses and serve right away.

Lemonade Recipes. Ginger and Honey

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe lemons
  • 1 ginger root
  • honey
  • water

Method:

Cut the lemons in half, squeeze three halves and cut the other into thin slices. Grate the ginger. Blend it with the lemon juice and honey, then add water. Add the lemon slices at the end. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a while or add ice cubes.

  • 1 juicy lemon
  • 2 – 3 limes
  • 1 kilo of strawberries
  • brown sugar
  • still or sparkling water

Method:

When making strawberry lemonade, you can leave the strawberries with the sugar on sit for a few hours in the fridge so a lot of their juice just comes out. Then blend them with the lemon and lime juice, brown sugar and water. Add ice chips or just leave it in the fridge. You can decorate with some mint leaves.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lemons
  • 3 ripe peaches
  • sugar
  • still water

Method:

Peel off the peaches after washing them well, take out the kernels, dice the pulp and put it in a bowl with the lemon juice and sugar. Mix to make a puree and then pour the water. You can serve with ice or cooled in the fridge.

Ingredients:

  • a few lavender flowers, fresh or dried
  • 2 pints of water
  • 1 large lemon or 2 smaller ones
  • honey – 3 – 4 spoons

Method:

Boil the water and pour it in a jug over the lavender. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, then filter and let it cool down.

When it’s completely cooled down, add the honey and lemon juice. Blend until the honey is disolved, then pour the lemonade into glasses half filled with ice. You can decorate your drink with fresh lavender flowers.
