Houses for Families With 1 Child. Three Ways of Living

A small family has small housing needs. But the “basic” home, a 2-bedroom, can take different shapes. We’ve selected three houses for families with 1 child to show you how the same living needs can be met in very different ways.

First we have a one-story house, in a classic shape, with attic. Its design is modern though, including nice wood insertions. It has a garage and a living area of 1,195 square feet and it can be built turnkey for 55,750 euros.

There’s a utility room behind the garage, while the living area is divided approximately in half between the bedrooms and the bathroom in between, on one side, and the spacious kitchen separated from the living room by a bar and the fireplace, on the other side. There’s an exit to the back of the house from the living room.

The second model is an ultramodern one, with a contemporary shape, large screened surfaces and a volume dressed in wood that matches the extensive back porch floor. The living area of this house is almost 1,240 sq. ft. and the construction price is approximately 57,500 euros.

The division of the indoor space is very practical and comfortable There’s a half-bathroom by the entrance, straight ahead is the entrance into the living room and there’s a pretty long hallway leading to the bedrooms with the full bathroom in-between. Opposite is the kitchen, somewhat isolated, but still open to the dining room which is next to the living.

Finally, here’s a two-story house, with a classic, welcoming design. Its living area is 1,130 sq. ft. and it can be built turnkey for just 53,000 euros.

On the first floor there are practically all the living space: a large kitchen, including dining area, and a large bathroom with laundry room, on one side of a corridor, and the living room, on the other side.
