One of the advantages of two-story houses is a clear separation of day and night spaces. Still, one may prefer to have one bedroom on the first floor, for several reasons. It can be living with an elder who would have difficulties in going up and down the stairs all the time or the need for a guest room or an office. Here are three houses with bedroom on the first floor, offering a solution to multiple living needs.

The first one is a wooden house on a stone foundation with a large balcony on the side. It has 3 bedrooms, a living area of 1,313 square feet and can be built turnkey for 58,380 euros.

There are a large main room, a small kitchen, a bathroom and the one bedroom on the first floor, and other two bedrooms and a bathroom in the attic.

The next house model has nice dormers and windows with shutters, beautifully combining masonry and wood. It has a living area of 1,430 sq. ft. and can be built turnkey for around 63,700 euros.

Though open, the kitchen is well delimited from the living room, that has an exit to the back of the house. From the living spaces, a hallway leads to the bedroom on the first floor, a bathroom and the utility room.

In the attic there are the other three bedrooms, a bathroom and a dressing.

The third house is smaller, but has 5 bedrooms. Its living area is 1,260 sq. ft. and the price of the construction is around 56,400 euros.

There are the living spaces including an enclosed dine-in kitchen with pantry, a dining room by its side and behind them the living room with exit to a small side covered porch. On the other side of a pretty large hallway and behind the garage there are the bedroom and a bathroom.
