There’s a tendency which is now developing in the construction area, namely the home miniaturization. The explanation for this is easy to find: a greater attention paid to costs, rising prices of the land lots, but, more important, the growing awareness of a need for a practical living space. With a younger generation paying more attention to these details and a keen desire for freedom, small houses are starting to become a usual sight. Here are three 70 square meter house plans, in various examples.

The first one brings us a two story house, spreading on 72 square meters. It is a house featuring a compact design, as expected, with frontal facades gaining attention thanks to wood finishes and a small patio partially covered for those peaceful mornings and evenings. The ground floor is entirely dedicated to living areas, accessible from the front patio, with a bathroom placed in a corner. Upstairs, two bedrooms share a bathroom which is similarly positioned, one of them enjoying access to a small wooden balcony.

The second house comes with a single level and a simple architecture, enlivened by the roof chromatic texture and the ensuing contrasts with the facades. The plan concerns only the ground floor, but it also suggests a layout for the attic, too, where two bedrooms and a bathroom can be easily set up. Two similar rooms lie on the main level, along the living spaces, which makes the small house fit for a family of even 5. The turnkey price is about 30,000 Euros.

The third example which matches the criterion in the title is a single level house again, but allowing a family to use the space in the attic according to its own needs. The small house stands out thanks to decorative stone and brick insertions on the façade which impart extra personality. The ground floor packs the same distribution of spaces as seen in the previous example, with the two bedrooms resting in a quiet corner away from the living spaces effervescence. The turnkey price of this house stands at 30,900 Euros.
